Quezon City circleHow TLD works?

Beside traditional longitude-latitude coordinates, TLD provides location by referencing it to nearest landmark. For example:

“0.1 km of SE of Quezon Monument, Quezon City, Metro Manila, RP, 14.6517, 121.04932”

Device locates 100 meters from Quezon Monument (nearest landmark) in direction of South-East. Latitude-Longitude coordinates (14.6517, 121.04932) provide exact location that can be, for example, transfer to other GPS device, plot to GIS, navigation and dispatching programs or Google Earth.

* Second data field, “Quezon City” tells where landmark point locates in municipal accuracy.
* Third data filed “Metro Manila” provides provincial level information of the location.
* Forth two character field “RP” provides location in country level: RP=Philippines.
